Pre-mariage consultation.

This normally happens at the time of booking. Client generally describe what is required and the photographer will provide advice on planning, logistics, and timelines if necessary.

If needed, clients are encouraged to participate in an additional exchange closer to the wedding time (approximately 2 weeks) to go over the remaining details.

In any case, we will contact you by phone/email or video call a few days before the wedding to make sure that there has not been a last minute change and if there are changes. How we can adapt.

Co-operation.

The Client and the Photographer agree to cooperate and communicate with each other to obtain the best possible result in understanding this contract. We recommend that the photographer be provided with an aid from the wedding party (usually one of the witnesses) who will indicate the key people to photograph. The photographer may also seek the help of this person in organizing family and groups and crowed control. Clients also agree to give the photographer sufficient warning about key wedding events to give the photographer time to prepare, e.g. toss the bouquet, arrival of the cake, speeches, fireworks etc. Normally the timetable is followed. But in the event, that things change, we will always adapt.

Paparazzi wedding guests

All of your guests will have digital cameras and all of your guests will want to photograph you. In the spirit of good cooperation, Clients agree to give Photographers priority over guests in order to take the photos required for the wedding services described above. We cannot be held responsible for the lack of wedding photos if guests taking their own photos of Clients continually interrupt the photographer’s work. We always try to work discreetly but if we are obstructed, we will move in front to have a clear unobstructed view with no disrespect intended. They will forget we blocked their shot when they see the wedding photos. In any case, we always anticipate and position ourselves ahead of the anticipated event.

The planning

Our shooting schedule, style of work and experience are designed to achieve an excellent set of wedding photos for clients, done with good humor and loved by all.

Clients and Photographers therefore agree that punctuality and cooperation are essential to produce exceptional photographic results. For couple signature photos it is important to allocate time for these.

In cases where the wedding is delayed, (for example, an extreme delay from one of the clients arriving at the church), we cannot guarantee that we will take the planned series of photos although, in such circumstances, we will do our best to document everything.

The timetable of events are TBA at this point and will be within the service window of 12 hours.

House rules

Note that photographers are sometimes limited by the rules imposed by the places of ceremony, the heads of ceremony (Mayor, Priest, Imam etc.) and / or the management of the places as to what can and cannot be done. For example, some heads of ceremonies insist that no flash photography is allowed, and others insist that photographers come out of a specific location. In such circumstances, customers accept the technical limitations that may be imposed on the equipment used.

Laser Lighting

The use of laser lights by DJ’s are not good for our cameras image sensors and photography / videography service may be halted if the lasers are not correctly positioned to above head height. Our equipment is expensive and lasers damage the imaging sensors of our cameras. For this reason, we will request if lasers are a must have at your wedding, the DJ or lighting technician should notify the photography team before they activate the laser lights. In most cases we will continue to photograph only stop video and only from a limited position with our backs towards the lights.

Fireworks

Fireworks are an amazing feat at a wedding and some amazing images come from it. If you have planned the fireworks, we would request that information, be provided. The maximum height of the fireworks when detonation. Distance from viewing point to fireworks launch. From this information we will calculate what lens, accessories, and perspective to setup ahead of the fireworks to create the best possible images.

Miscellaneous:

This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior negotiations, understandings, and agreements between the parties. Any modifications of this agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties.
