What can I say about this wedding?! When we started at the preparations the weather wasn’t looking so good but Solene remained calm and free spirited. We detoured after preparations to capture the first look where they saw each other for the first time in their wedding attire, a magical moment with loads of emotion.
The formal signing was at the Mairie de Saint-Julien-en-Genevois just a stone throw away from Geneva, Switzerland. We continued to the reception in Mieussy, France which was a 44km drive but having the time we stopped in-between to get some light and airy signature photos before we established camp for the night at the reception venue.
There was something special about this wedding that allowed me for the first time in a decade of photographing weddings to be able to get a rain shot, sunset and twilight couple signature images. The conditions were perfect at those specific times to create those.
Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.
